Clearing out
The fish hold was one of the first major jobs we decided to tackle in 2004.
First, we had to clear out the hold completely and take it back to bare steel.
This was a really big job and the only way out of the hold was via the ladder you see.
Our thighs certainly got a good workout! These were pre-crane days so everything was hand=balled out (by Wendy mainly).
Lucky for you, you can experience this without experiencing the smell!
